Ingredients
- ¼ cup Food of Ages Avocado Oil
- 1 tsp balsamic vinagrette
- 7 ripe tomatoes
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 8 chopped fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 3/4 teaspoons of sea salt
- 1 French baguette or similar
Preparation
- Blanch and peel the tomatoes
- Preheat the oven to 450°F and place a rack in the highest position.
- Chop tomatoes and combine with garlic, oil, vinegar, basil, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Cut the baguette into half-inch thick slices and toast them in the oven.
- Toss the toasted bread with the tomato mixture and serve.
