Ingredients
- 1/3 of a cup of water
- 2 tablespoons of chia seeds
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
- 1/3 of a cup of Food of Ages
- Avocado Oil
- 3/4 of a cup organic brown sugar
- 1 tbsp of vanilla extract
- 1 cup gluten-free baking flour
- 1/4 tsp of baking soda
- 1/8 tsp of salt
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line an 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, providing an overhang so the brownies can be removed easily.
- Combine the chia seeds and water in a small bowl and set aside to gel for 5 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate chips and avocado oil in a large microwave-safe bowl in 30 second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the brown sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Stir in the chia mixture until everything is completely blended.
- Mix in the flour and baking soda until there are no dry spots.
- Bake the brownies.
