Ingredients
- Food of Ages Avocado Oil
- Garlic cloves
- Fine sea salt
- Dried cranberries
- Black pepper
- Almonds, peanuts or pecans, roasted
- Lemon wedges
Preparation
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers. Cook, tossing frequently, until the trimmed green beans are bright, glossy, and slightly brown.
- Season with salt, garlic, black pepper, and you may add the seasoning of your choice. Cook, stirring regularly, for about 30 seconds, or until the garlic is aromatic.
- Fill the pot halfway with water and cover with a lid. Cook for 1-2 minutes longer, or until the green beans are bright green and crisp-tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then top with dried cranberries, toasted nuts and lemon wedges.
